Barry D. Blanton is the owner and founder of Blanton Advisors, LLC, a CFO and business consulting firm in The Woodlands, TX. Blanton is an accomplished financial and operational executive with a successful 40-year career in the banking, housing, wholesale distribution, and consulting industries. Blanton Advisors, LLC focuses helping entrepreneurs thrive through customized financial strategies.
Blanton was named a 2010 Woodlands Hometown Hero and received the Citizen of the Year award from The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce in 2017. He was also honored as the 2019 Distinguished Alumnus by Leadership Montgomery County and the 2022 Community Champion by Interfaith of The Woodlands.
He is actively involved with the Montgomery County Light the Night Walk and serves on the Board of Directors for both The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and Compassion United. His past leadership includes serving as Chairman of the Board for Leadership Montgomery County, a board member of the Montgomery Central Appraisal District, and Chairman of both the Conroe and South County YMCAs.
Blanton is also the author of The Monday Morning Minute and founder of Live2Lead-The Woodlands. He holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of both Leadership Conroe and Leadership Montgomery County Master Class. Blanton and his wife, Fran, are longtime residents of The Woodlands.
